Garage Floor Vinyl Tile

Question:
I'll be pouring a concrete garage slab in the next week or so. We'll power float it as smooth as we can.
My eventual goal is to lay down a patterned vinyl tile. I always wanted a shop with a black and white tiled floor!
How long should I wait for the concrete to cure and what, if any, is need to seal the floor before laying down the tiles.
Unless, of course, someone has other ideas to acheive the same effect!
Can anyone help me please?

Answer:
You might want to look at the black and white composite floor tiles in
Griot's Garage catalog. They sell composite tiles in black and white, for laying a checkerboard pattern on your garage floor. The l sq. ft tiles are
$14.95 per tile. The 2 sq. ft. tiles are $59.95 per tile. You can also order a sample of two tiles (one black and one white).
I don't see any mention of having to seal the floor. However, in one home project, I used H&C Concrete Sealer (acrylic silicone), and then stamped a brick design upon it in paint. generally speaking, it is not uncommon to seal immediately after concrete is placed.keeping the concrete wet or sealing the surface causes the concrete to cure slowly, producing stronger concrete with less cracks.
